Dear Friends,
Wow! Our weekend at Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival was truly amazing. Clearwater audiences are so generous, genuine and spirited, we are so grateful to be able to return year after year and make music with you by the side of the mighty Hudson River!
Our online store will be having a 20 percent off sale all week! From today June 24- June 30. All of our albums can be found here, as well as our fabulous coloring book, featuring drawings of Dan Zanes, Levon Helm, Storey’s piano and more!

We will be heading down to the Washington DC area this week to play on XM Sirius Kids Place Live and to play two shows at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA. We will be playing songs from our most recent album, Blue Clouds as well as old favorites. Tune in to the satellite wavelengths or join us at the Little Theater in the Woods- two very different but very wonderful experiences!

We did a fun interview with the nice people at Stereogum while on tour last fall and it has finally emerged on the world wide web. Click below to read our thoughts on how we are like a hardcore band and how much we love Bill Withers!

Finally, some of you know that our family has been working hard to fight fracking in New York State. We were part of a concert film called “Dear Governor Cuomo” that came out last year, featuring actors Mark Ruffalo and Melissa Leo, and musicians Natalie Merchant, Meshell Ndegeocello, Medeski Martin and Wood, Joan Osborne, Dan Zanes, Simi Stone, Citizen Cope, Toshi Reagon and more! On this song, even Storey and her friends backstage got in on the action.
Below is a link to an outtake from the film, one of my favorite songs from the concert, the Sly and the Family Stone song “Everyday People.” We hope you enjoy it!
We have many wonderful shows coming up this summer and hope that we will see you many of you down the road!
Happy Summer!
xoxo
