You’ve Been a Friend to Me Concert

On June 23rd we played a beautiful album release show at the Washington Ethical Society in Washington DC, for You've Been a Friend to Me. We were joined by our violinist Jean Cook, our friends Dan and Claudia Zanes and very special guest Ysaye M. Barnwell of Sweet Honey in the Rock. We began the day with a rehearsal in Takoma Park at the beautiful home of Jo Rasi, host of the series Daily Antidote of Song. It was amazing and humbling to make music and honor Sonya in a room full of people who knew and loved her.
